The Mexicans - The Mexicans
From the infosheet: ‘Formed at the end of 2002 after a drunken night in the back street bars of Melbourne, The Mexicans soon entered into a planned hibernation to prepare a set, which can only be desribed as a drunken assault wearing a blue singlet smoking rollies.’ Right!
The Mexicans are not from Mexico, they’re Aussies and Aussie bands tend to be very uncompromising and loud! Thank god. They rock hard, they rock fast and they rock loud. They come, they see, they rock. AC/DC rocks, The Mexicans ROCK. I think you get my point…
It’s all the basic ingredients in a nice fat, spicy stew. A big chunk of Motorhead with some AC/DC sauce. Add a little groove. No, make that a lot of groove, a punk attitude and a mean in-your-face kicking sound. Drink it with lots of beer with shots on the side. Et voila: The Mexicans. I fucking love it.
Rock ‘n roll the hard way. The heavy way. Like there’s any other way…
A short half hour of swinging, grooving, steaming rock. This smells like sweat, blood and alcohol. Fantastic CD for in your car or at drinking party’s. ROCK ON!!
